Do you know why there are so many “Chequers Pubs” around? And do you know if any of our Parish trees are over 500 years old? Well those of us who came on the Parish Council’s tree walk on 2 September know the answers!!
For this walk, we had a guest leader, Jonathon Simons, and nearly 30 of us went with him on a glorious sunny Sunday morning looking at our native trees. Thanks to Penny Bullen and Jill Chaytor for helping to organise it.
It was a really interesting and lively walk and we learned a lot. Afterward, we treated ourselves to bacon butties at the excellent Copsale Hall. Who could ask for anything more! Come with us on our next Parish
Council walk. Watch the Parish Council’s website or notice boards for the details.
